My workshops invite participants to explore the handpan as a versatile instrument for both personal expression and collective music-making. We will work on technique, coordination, and musicality while learning how to connect with others through rhythm, harmony, and improvisation.
Each session blends technical growth with creative interaction:
Foundations of Expression (Beginners)
Simple rhythms and grooves as a basis for listening and playing together. Introduction to melody and harmony through easy call-and-response and collective exercises.
Coordination & Independence (Intermediate/Advanced)
Developing both hands as complementary voices. Layering grooves, accents, and dynamics to create textures that support collective playing.
