No handpan? No problem!

If you can't or don't want to bring your own instrument for the week, you're in good hands with us.

We have been collaborating with selected handpan manufacturers for some time now – including Sound Sculpture, one of our trusted partners.

When purchasing your ticket, you can indicate directly whether you would like to rent a handpan. This will help us coordinate availability.

What kind of atmosphere do I need for the workshops?

For the handpan workshops, we ask you to bring or rent a handpan tuned to D-Kurd.
This mood is preferred in the teaching units to enable a shared learning framework.

And what about the jam sessions?

In the jam sessions, many different instruments and moods come together – that’s part of the magic!
Of course, it's helpful when similar moods play together. But diversity, spontaneity, and sonic encounters are equally welcome.

In addition to handpans, there will also be other instruments, body percussion, vocals and plenty of free musical space.

Our tip:
Make sure you book your rental handpan early – popular tunings like D-Kurd often sell out quickly.
