Our Handpan Summer Academies are open to all levels. In small groups (maximum 20-25 participants) divided according to skill level, every aspiring musician will find their place. Don't hesitate and join us for an unforgettable week full of knowledge, music, and community! You're sure to love it!
Please bring comfortable clothing suitable for all weather conditions, a closed water bottle, a yoga mat, a cushion or chair, and of course your handpan. Don't forget personal toiletries and swimwear, as there's a swimming pond at our seminar house!
The ticket price includes the program with all Special Experience workshops, sound journeys, and concerts. However, handpan workshops must be booked separately and are not included in the price! Accommodation and meals must be paid directly on our website. Here 's the link for more information.
This year, accommodation and all food-related matters will be organized directly by us, the Holistic Sound & Movement Association. Single, double, and multi-bed rooms are available, as well as the option to stay in a tent or campervan.
The NORI CATHERING kitchen provides us with freshly and lovingly prepared, wholesome, exclusively vegetarian meals. Fish/meat is also available upon request (this would incur an additional charge). Please discuss any questions or special requests regarding your diet, as well as any intolerances, allergies, etc., directly with us. This year, handpan rentals are being handled directly by one of our partner manufacturers. We are cooperating with Soundsculpture Handpan Mainz , who will provide the instruments specifically for you on site.
You don't have a D-Kurd, can't bring one with you? Then we have the solution!
Here's how the rental service works:
Expert support: You will receive valuable tips on the care, handling and maintenance of the quality and lifespan of your handpan.
Purchase option: If you particularly like your instrument, you can then buy it directly from the manufacturer. Contacting them often makes future purchases easier as well.
Costs & Conditions:
Weekly rental: €100 per handpan for the entire week.
Daily price for workshops: €30
Registration: Please indicate directly in the registration form whether you need a handpan so that we can reserve one for you on site.

This year, a wide range of "Special Experiences" awaits you. The holistic approach of our Academy allows you to explore your body with all your senses, discover and cultivate your talents, and find harmony not only in the sound of your handpan, but also in the sound of your body, your heart, and your creative expression. Mornings and afternoons offer a diverse program encompassing bodywork, yoga, meditation, creativity, percussion, rhythm, movement, and crafts. So, if you don't want to focus solely on the handpan, you'll find fantastic alternatives that will make this week truly special! In the evenings, there will also be concerts, singing circles, and art workshops—much to satisfy your heart's desire! We look forward to seeing you!
The Wild Naya Handpan Summer Academy thrives not only on its gifted artists, enthusiastic participants, and the magic of music, but above all on the many hardworking hands that work behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after the Academy.
