Every October, we’ve released our SUPER EARLY BIRD tickets, and this year we’re excited to offer you the same early access again. Keep an eye on our newsletter – in the next few days, you’ll get all the details on how to secure your ticket!
About the Event
This year, our Academy takes place in beautiful Belgium, deep in the forest inside a castle – a truly special venue, away from the many Handpan events in Germany. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

SUPER EARLY BIRD Ticket
Price: €333

• Access to all special workshops

🪘 Handpan Workshops – Choose Your Level
This year, Handpan workshops are booked separately. We’ve set fair prices for each teacher – so your contribution directly supports the artists and musicians.
Beginner+:
You’ve played a little and want to deepen your skills (not for absolute beginners).
Intermediate:
You play regularly and want to refine your technique and learn new patterns.
Intermediate/Advanced:
You’re confident in your technique and ready to break out of patterns and evolve further.

All Levels:
Everyone’s welcome – from curious beginners to experienced players!
Each Handpan workshop lasts 3 hours in the morning. You can create your own timetable from our wide range of workshops.
In the afternoon, you’ll have time to apply what you’ve learned in jam sessions – it’s all about growing and expressing yourself.
Workshops are not included in the main ticket price and must be booked separately.
Workshop Prices:

• Standard Handpan Workshops: €80 / 3 hours

• Handpan Workshop with Malte Marten: €200 / 3 hours

No Handpan? No problem!

We partner with Soundsculpture, who provide instruments for rent.
Accommodation & Surroundings
You can choose from:

• Tent

• Van

• Single room

• Double room

• Shared room

Prices: €15–€90 depending on accommodation type
Meal package: €60 per day (shared meals are required – they strengthen our community!)
On-site features:

• Sauna

• Natural swimming pond

• Two fire pits

• Wildflowers, forest trails & pure nature

• Academy starts: July 20, 2026

• Handpan Workshops begin: July 21

  • 6 workshops on the first day, then 9 daily

  • Max. 20 participants per workshop




• Vegetarian catering by Nori Catering: delicious, healthy meals all week

 New to the Handpan World?
No worries! Even complete beginners are warmly welcome at the WNY Academy.
We recommend joining 1–2 Handpan workshops in spring (at least 3 hours each) before the Academy. This will help you find out if the instrument resonates with you and if you’d like to dive deeper.
You can also join the Academy without playing Handpan and still enjoy all the other workshops, jam sessions, and creative programs!
