QUENTIN KAYSER

Quentin Kayser is a handpan player whose music not only provides melodies , but also moods and inner peace.

He plays with a special sensitivity that is based less on virtuosity than on genuine listening. This creates a sound that is warm, clear, and deeply moving.

What distinguishes him is his ability to communicate with the handpan as if in a silent conversation, awakening feelings in the listener for which words often fail. His music invites one to slow down, to feel oneself, and to arrive completely in the sound for a moment.

Summary of the teaching unit “Flow in 7 – Groove, Voice & Harmony on the Handpan”

In this workshop, Quentin Kayser playfully and creatively introduces participants to the world of 7/8 groove . Instead of counting, participants learn to physically feel the rhythm – with voice, movement, and harmonic patterns on the handpan.

“7 Time Easy & Fun: Feel the groove and develop your own voice”

Introduction to the natural flow of 7-beat rhythms through movement and handpan exercises; use of one's own voice for rhythmic orientation and emotional expression; collaborative development of a joyful group composition in 7/8 time.

For advanced users & professionals

"Advanced Harmony Dance: 7 Time for Composition & Creative Flow"

In-depth study of phrasing, polyrhythms, and multi-layered harmonies in 7/8 time.
